When you are buying Direct Thermal tags or labels, your printer normally does not use a ribbon.

If your printer does use a ribbon, then you should be purchasing Thermal Transfer tags or labels.

For use in your direct thermal printers, specifically tested in Zebra models LP2824 and LP2844. This label uses a label gap to sensor between labels and does not have a black mark sensor system. These dumbbell direct thermal printer labels are made of a synthetic material to help them withstand daily jewellery cleaning. Measures 2-3/16" x 1/2".

Supported By: Zebra Series 2824 or 2844. May work in other brands of printers.
