Are you wondering why you might need pre-stretched clear pallet wrap? Pre-stretched film is a type of stretch wrap film that has been stretched near its breaking point and then wound onto rolls. The film is typically pre-stretched to approximately 90% at the factory, which is why pre-stretched film has thinner gauges than traditional film. We tested it here, and basically it takes much less effort to wrap a pallet with a nice tight wrap.  Often with traditional pallet wrap, it can be hard to put enough tension on the roll to wrap a pallet properly.  Pre stretched pallet film significantly helps that problem.
